The benchtop model conveys the functional principle of a heat pump in an easy and understandable way. It illustrates the different stations of the refrigeration cycle that are crucial for the smooth functioning of a heat pump: Evaporation, compression, condensation and expansion. With the help of this model, these central phases can be understood in a simple way.
