About us
From the beginning in 1850 till now, LD DIDACTIC concentrates on how to make content understandable for students in different levels of digital education. So we are proud that for generations our training systems have made a significant contribution to knowledge transfer in science and engineering.
Our holistic approach is inspired by the German dual education system: Specialized personnel are in greater demand than ever. Investing in the practical training of your students, you equip them with important skills that the labour market requires.
Nevertheless, in more than 170 years of experience we have found that you can achieve a lot when keeping up with customer’s needs: we continuously challenge ourselves to preserve our high quality standards and adjust our products and services to changing curricula or new technologies.
We can supply all from a single source: Teaching systems, software for experiments and organization, experiment literature and teacher training for the digital training.

LeyLab - cloud based lab management
With LeyLab your institute can record device types and their storage locations as part of your itinerary of our equipment.
Another highlight of LeyLab is the experiment management. With this, topic-specific experiments from the LD experiment library (also based on the available equipment) are suggested to the teacher.
COM4LAB - compact and comprehensive training system for electrical engineering
COM4LAB enables modern digital training using smartphones, tablets and laptops of any kind - on-site at school, in the company or even at home.
Science Lab - the modern and innovatice STEM training solution
Best solution for STEM education
Skill enhancing: Problem solving and planning observation and analysis learning processSave time
Fast research of experiments and distribution of the student worksheetsEasy preparation
At home or on the go: Cloud solution makes all information accessible from everywhereSupports every teaching style
Work fully digital or with pen and paper, the system fits to each way of teachingFor excellent teaching results
Adjust the content to the level of student by using the Lab Docs Editor
Smartgrid and renewable energies
Different scenario experiments can be conducted by integrating and coupling of smart power grid components.
Students learn how a conventional power grid works and smart technologies work. They gain knowledge about the characteristics, behavior and operation of the new energy generation with easy to handle experimental kits. Next to power plant, storage and consumers, solar and wind parks can be integrated.
Your students can independently study by the uncomplicated handling of the diversified experiments in a plug-in system. The LEYBOLD STE kits are coming in a clearly arranged, solid case for transportation and storage.
Virtual experiments
Innovative tools for active learning in demonstration experiments
Virtual experiments make it possible to overcome the challenges of demonstration experiments and open interactive learning paths for pupils. The innovative experiments contain digital instructions, videos of real experiments and set-up videos as well as simultaneous measurement data acquisition and detailed analyses. Provision via a QR code makes access simple and direct. With LEYBOLD's virtual experiments, students not only passively observe the demo experiments, but also actively and independently continue them and analyse them independently at home.
e-vehicles training systems
Correct handling and inspecting of hybrid and high-voltage systems
Diagnosing and testing of functions, evaluation of measurements as well as repair components and system extensions of electric/hybrid vehicles
Brand-independent practical exercises with fault indication
Suitable for class demonstration or practical training by students at the level of vocational training but also at university
Measurements can be performed under no-load or load
Measurements can be performed safely and without special safety equipment
